Australian-born and trained, Dr Zara Vickers is a true specialist general practitioner with a broad scope of practice and a calm, thorough approach. Over the past two years, she has worked full-time in dermatology with consultant dermatologists, completing additional training and dedicating her practice to skin health—so patients can access specialty-level care within general practice.

Zara is married with three young children and brings a wealth of life experience, enabling her to relate to and support patients across all ages and conditions. She combines genuine care with a practical, problem-solving approach to improve health outcomes and make meaningful differences in her patients’ lives.

 What Zara treats

  • All aspects of dermatology: skin checks and skin cancer care, rashes, acne, eczema, psoriasis, hair and scalp conditions.
  • Women’s health: menopause care and symptom control, contraception (including Implanon insertion/removal), antenatal shared care, cervical screening, well-woman checks, hormonal treatment.
  • Procedures & treatments: iron infusions, joint injections, skin cancer surgery, mole removal, wound care, minimally scarring skin biopsies and skin cancer removal.
  • Cosmetic medicine: injectables (anti-wrinkle & dermal fillers) with a natural-results philosophy; treatment plans prioritising skin health first and cosmetic mole removal.
  • General & preventive care: comprehensive GP medicine with a focus on prevention, lifestyle and long-term wellbeing.
  • ADHD: Dr Zara Vickers has a special interest in Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and has undertaken advanced training in comprehensive ADHD assessment. She is experienced in the evaluation and diagnosis of ADHD, with a focus on thorough, evidence-based assessment and individualised management plans.
